Nick Roberts, AIA
Nick is passionate about modern, sustainably designed spaces, neighborhood walkability, and urban infill opportunities.
He began his passion for architecture, construction, and building science when he attended Appalachian State University, receiving a degree in Building Science and Community & Regional Planning in 2011. He graduated from the NCSU College of Design with a Masters of Architecture in 2015. Professionally he has worked in both construction and architecture, from building custom homes to executing design-build projects to designing commercial and residential buildings.
Outside of the office, Nick is usually riding his bike to parks with his wife and two children, tinkering in his backyard woodshop, or enjoying a local beer outside.
Reservoir Studio is a small, design focused architecture studio based in North Carolina. We rely on intensive collaboration with clients, builders, and local artisans and crafters to create highly purposeful, bespoke spaces which are deeply rooted in their place and context.
We believe every project we undertake should be harmoniously rooted in the context of site and community. We believe there is an opportunity for great design in every project, at every scale, and for every program & budget. We also believe that we have a responsibility to our community to design buildings with the highest levels of sustainability.
